Skellefteå

Skellefteå is situated in the northern part of the Baltic Sea and is considered the epicentre of Europe’s green transition, being at the forefront of a green tech boom. It is a lively small town with local city life, embedded in vast pine and spruce forests, parts of which have been the Sami’s reindeer winter pastureland for centuries. Skellefteå has the longest coastline in the country with natural small beaches and harbours along the shore.

It’s a place to share the Arctic Lifestyle, and experience culture and history in a safe way, where overcrowding does not exist. Skellefteå is a member of GSTC which supports its members in their sustainability work.
