Arctic Treats Forest Fika

Fika is the swedish word of a social coffe break with some sweet or savoury treats. We hike 500 meters into the forest, close but still in the middle of the forest is our café for the evening, a Tentipi lavvo with hot tub, heated with wood from the forest around us. In winter season we use snow shoes. We enjoy stories, the silence, the fire, the company and a lovely coffee with an Arctic twist consisting of local produce. We learn how to make boiling coffee in the authentic way. Maybe it’s nice to lie down on the reindeer skins and rest in the glow of the fire. If we’re lucky, the northern lights or the sun appear for us on the way home.

Length of tour: 3 hours Season: All year (Nov-April snowshoes incl). Min: 2 pers Max: 15 pers Suitable for: The activity requires light physical activity, no previous knowledge is required, bring clothes suitable for season. Included: arctic coffee with local savory and sweet pastries, cooking coffee school, guiding. Lunch or dinner can be added.
