The mystical Northern Lights – what are they and how to catch them?

Book Northern Lights lecture and/or Northern Lights trip to your group!

The lecture will include an introduction about the Northern Lights, where they come from, what we might see and how to photograph them. Also you will hear some memorable tales about chasing the Northern Lights.

The lecture fits perfectly between meetings or evening gatherings.

Searching for the Northern Lights in Koiteli:

In Koiteli area the nature is wild and pure, landscape is incredible as it is – but when starry sky and (with a bit of luck) the Northern Lights are added, it’s just perfect!

First we will have an introduction about the Northern Lights, where they come from, what we shall expect to see and how to photograph them. After that we’ll go outside to search for auroras and the starry skies. The lecture is held in a cosy and intimate Tunnelmatupa, by open fire.

Thomas Kast will help you with camera settings, how to get the best out of your camera. Remember, there is no guarantee to see auroras. When it is cloudy, we can concentrate on other night photography styles.

You can also join the trip without photo shooting, just enjoying the nature.
