Holmön's Boat Museum

On Holmön, man has always depended on the archipelago’s livelihoods. In the exhibition at Holmön’s boat museum, the drudgery in the fishing boats, the hunt for seals, and the hard life for the family to make ends meet with the help of small farming are depicted. The boats are the starting point for stories about different trades at different times of the year.

Holmön’s boat museum consists of several rooms built together and when you wander through the museum you will come across important parts of Holmön’s history and activities.

Normally open from mid-June to mid-August. Contact the museum for opening hours and guided tours.
